We assist students seeking admissions to West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Merchant Marine Academy or Coast Guard Academy with flexible services and packages to meet their needs.   Whether it's a few questions and specific recommendations or formal constructive guidance, Service Academy Coach provides hourly consulting up to our 20 Hour Consultation and Evaluation Package used at  your direction and discretion.


3 or 5 Hour Consultation/Evaluation Package

Our 3 or 5 Hour Consultation / Evaluation package is for any student who needs a professional evaluation and recommendations on one or more aspect of the admissions process. This session is appropriate for the student regardless of grade level if they are interested in seeking a Congressional nomination and applying to any of the Service Academies.

 
Highlights -


1)     Review the student's transcripts, profile, standardized test scores, extracurricular activities, talents, skills, and interests that would be pertinent to the Service Academies
2)     Develop a strategy to bolster the student’s academic and extracurricular profile
3)     Pinpoint weaknesses and devise a plan to address those areas
4)     Discuss strategies on how to write essays and seek relevant letters of recommendations - Essay review and corrections

5)     Devise a long term strategy that encompasses all areas to improve chances for admissions (G.P.A., future coursework, jobs, and internships) 
6)     Review core requirements and cover areas of emphasis based on requirements of the Service Academy Admissions Board and Congressional nominating committees.  Special focus will be applied towards timeline and milestone of events.  Mock interviews
are not conducted in this package. 
 

10 Hour Consultation/Evaluation Package

Our 10 hour package is designed for the student who is just beginning or has started the applications process for the Service Academies.  If you are a student seeking a Congressional nomination or interested in applying to any of the three primary Service Academies and need guidance and recommendations on specific aspects of the admissions process, we recommend the 10 hour package and it can also be pro-rated to the 20 hour package, if needed.  
        
Highlights - 

1) Provide a customized Roadmap Strategy and evaluate the student's whole person concept to include a thorough review of courses taken, standardized test results, extracurricular activities, character, special talents, or unique characteristics
2) Determine the student's objectives and interests and figure out which Service Academy may best be suited to their interests and background
3) Provide guidance to the student in the outline of essays and personal statements as well as selection of writers for their letters of recommendations and concepts to be included in those letters that best portray the student's profile and character - essay drafts
are reviewed and corrected in this package
4) Help the student formulate and present their profile to the Congressional nominations committees and the Service Academy admissions board 
5) Walk through interview preparations - multiple sessions of mock interviews
is not provided in this package

6) Develop schedules and create a plan with milestones to ensure the student fulfills the requirements of the applications process in a timely manner
7) Determine appropriate academy visits and seminars to best prepare the student mentally and physically

If additional support or advice is needed, this fee can be applied to a 20 hour package


 
20 Hour Consultation/Evaluation Package
 
Our 20 hour package covers greater details and we spend more time thoroughly walking through each step of the Service Academy Admissions process.  It is highly recommended for the student whose determination is to be completely prepared throughout the admissions process to earn an appointment to one of the Service Academies.

7) Also work with the student to determine site visits and seminars and also walk the student through life as a cadet/midshipmen so that the student will be fully prepared both mentally and physically

This package is more detailed in nature and is designed to walk the student through every conceivable step in the process with a micro-examination of each activity.

Any 3, 5, or 10 hour consultation and evaluation package can be upgraded to an expanded package and pro-rated, if desired.  In advance of the consultation sessions, the student may be requested to submit a personal profile to include course grades, personal profile, standardized test results, and description of activities and positions held.  This will maximize the value of the session for the student.
